This is biiiig. The 720S is already a monster, this will push things even farther.

I believe that's the M840t engine in the 720S, not sure if this ECU will be applicable or maybe that is still in the works.

Correct and no comment on the M840T.

720s not too far behind the m838T... Either or for sure are what these cars need to make it a fair game competing against any other tuner friendly supercar...

From a tuner's perspective, what is the major advantage over the factory ECU? Just too much in the factory code that isn't defined?

Not at all, actually everything is defined on the stock ECU, between models there might be a few tables missing but talking about a few dozens of irrelevant tables missing compared to 50k tables defined.

The actual advantage here, at least for me, is mainly the advantage of not needing to flash the ECU at all, live changes are amazing, features that are more inclined to performance rather than emissions as the OEM approach, and even on such intricate stand alone as the Syvecs is, not having to look/scroll/search between thousands of tables to acomplish something, having in front only what you need for performance and be able to add something only if you need it, for sure will save time that we can use to tune the car instead of doing all the steps we have to do on the OEM ECU.
