    • Hennessey wants to get in on McLaren 720S M840T tuning with 809 rwhp HPE900 package

The only reason to go to Hennessey to tune your car is if you like overpaying for parts and possibly never even ever receiving those parts. Hennessey is offering an HPE900 package for the McLaren 720S but tuners on BoostAddict are getting more performance from the platform.

@Mitch@Dyno Spectrum, @kbaldi29 of Labworx, @Pure Turbos, Gintani, etc., are all exceeding these Hennessey numbers.

As a matter of fact, the McLaren 720S is already in the 8's in the 1/4 mile. Hennessey despite having their own drag strip does not post any 1/4 mile numbers.

Here is their HPE900 package which they do not post the price for. You know why. Because getting a bunch of lame HPE900 badges and a serial numbered dash plaque come at a premium:

      High-flow air filters
      Factory ECU re-calibration
      Hennessey stainless steel exhaust upgrade
      Upgraded factory turbo system
      Intercooler system upgrade
      Professional installation
      All necessary gaskets and fluids
      Exterior Hennessey emblem
      Exterior HPE900 emblems
      Serial numbered dash plaque
Serial numbered plaque in engine compartment
3 year/ 36,000 mile warranty on Hennessey upgrades

There are no pictures of any of these products namely the intercooler upgrade.

What we do have is a dynograph for the ECU tune and exhaust:

Nice gains but McLarenBoost would wager any tuner on this network could get better results for less. After all, Labworx just posted an 826 whp dyno for the 720S.

If you are into overpaying for a brand (a shady one at that), go right ahead and get the HPE900 package. The rest of us know where to go.

Tune and intake. Not sure why they write upgraded turbos.
