    • 1/2 mile racing between a VF-Engineering supercharged Huracan Performante and a stock McLaren 720S

It is crazy to think a Lamborghini 5.2 liter V10 needs to boost just to be able to run with a stock McLaren 720S but that is how damn fast the McLaren is out of the box. This particular Lamborghini is the Performante edition of the Huracan so it is a little leaner.

Traction is obviously in the Huracan's court with its all wheel drive. The McLaren is a bit lighter though so what we should see happen is the Huracan get the lead only for the McLaren to run it down and pass.

That is essentially how things play out. It's close but the 720S traps 1.7 mph higher:

All the 720S needs is a tune to be in a new stratosphere though.

Maybe it is time for VF-Engineering to start exploring the idea of a TVS2650 blower as an option rather than only offering the TVS2300? Maybe some high boost/built motor options as well?
