    • Quickest and fastest McLaren 720S - 9.486@146.46 1/4 mile, 60-130 in 4.9

This is the quickest and fastest McLaren 720S in the world to the knowledge of the BoostAddict.com Automotive Performance Network. The result tops a 720S running in Bahrain tuned by Dyno Spectrum which did a 9.60 @ 146.58.

Hydra Motor Works tuned ths 720S although the supporting modifications and fuel are not specified. Regardless, this is now the overall world record:

If you are wondering what that works out to 60-130 it is 4.9 seconds.

Will we see an 8-second 720S shortly? How much more is there to get out of the factory turbochargers?

Hopefully we get those answers soon.

Amazingly fast but still not as fast as Dave's 911. He sets the bar so high that I'm not sure what to get next lol

Why is 60-130 measured like this? True 60-130 acceleration would be when the car is cruising at 60 then accelerates.

I saw a video of a 720s trapping over 150 a few days back. I think they claimed it was stock as well.

Who starts from 60 to measure 60-130 or who uses the time measured while the car is already accelerating?

I find 150 stock hard to believe. Magazines inflated the perception a bit but it seems to be a realistically a ~143 car depending on weather.

If trapping over 130 in the 1/4 mile why not do that?

Who starts from 60 for 60-130? Boost buildup would take quite some times. I agree accelerating from 60 would be ideal but that can't be regulated.
