    • Precision 6266 single turbo E92 335is N54 vs. McLaren 570S

A McLaren 570S is a strong benchmark for an N54. For perspective, a stock McLaren 570S is capable of running 10.2 @ 135 in the 1/4 mile. It's light, it's powerful with a twin turbo 3.8 liter V8, and it has a very efficient dual clutch transmission.

Which is the key here for both cars as the 335is is a DCT. With a 6266 at only 20 psi and no port fuel injection the trans is a key factor. This single turbo setup can be turned up quite a bit more.

It's enough to beat this 570S with a passenger from a roll though.

      Impressive.

That 80mph to 140mph seemed impressively fast on the dyno.

People playing with these older transmissions don't understand just how huge the advantage is. It's almost like cheating.

I agree with you but good luck getting the owner to admit it.

On stock internals with original fuel system and no ethanol, that is very impressive.
