MMP is a turbo manufacturer that made bold claims over the years namely in the N54 sector. Their MMP '1K' N54 turbochargers never actually made 1,000 horsepower to this day and the majority of the time BimmerBoost sees them is when someone is listing them for sale in the classifieds. MMP's track record is not only bumpy to say the least their customer service and communication is poor. How poor? They have yet to respond to BimmerBoost product inquiries and doing so would only help their own business. Not to mention the many customers we see ignored or who have stopped cheerleading for them on the forums. With that said, what makes anyone think MMP will succeed in the competitive S63TU turbo upgrade sector? Especially when proven big names who know how to answer e-mails already dominate it? That all sounds nice but there are no dynos to share or any durability testing to point to. It looks like they are looking for a guinea pig to get the ball rolling. Want some advice? Don't be a guinea pig to make someone else money.

If you wondered what a C7 RS7 can do with bolt ons and pump gas on an all wheel drive Dynojet, here you are. Eurocharged Canada got this C7 generation RS7 in for their Stage 2 software which is designed for a custom dyno tune on a car with catless downpipes. It is on 94 octane pump gas. The turbos sure hit hard down low: 780 lb-ft of torque at the wheels as early as 3700 rpm sure explains why these RS7's get off the line so darn quickly and get such great elapsed times. The top end is not quite as strong as the kick down low but 656 horsepower at 5400 rpm is a lot of power and the horsepower curve holds above 600 to the wheels until redline. Great bolt on pump gas numbers.

Toyo Tires released this video of Tyler Pappas in a BMW F87 M2 on Toyo Proxes climbing Pikes Peak. Now, Pikes Peak in the dry is a big enough challenge but doing it in the rain? You have to admire the giant ball that takes. Pikes Peak may be paved now but it is hardly safe. Unfortunately, there was a recent fatality and that was toward the end of the climb in good conditions. This type of racing does not come without risk. There is also tremendous reward in completing one of the world's most famous hill climbs. Watch this in 4K in all its glory.

What an absolutely badass wagon this is! TTE (The Turbo Engineers Germany) tends to name their turbo upgrades based on what they will provide in crank output. Well, the TTE900 4.0 TFSI V8 twin turbo upgrade is even a bit conservative as 864 horsepower at all four wheels is well over 900 crank horsepower. Dynocoms tend to read high compared to Dynojets but this is a ton of power: 1150 newton-meters works out to 848 lb-ft of torque at the wheels. GTS Performance Germany put this RS6 together but they did not specify the fuel, boost pressure, supporting mods, or if there are any transmission modifications. Many questions as to how this output was achieved but no denying it is a beast of an RS6.

Looking for big power for your Lamborghini Huracan 5.2 V10 or Audi R8 V10 5.2? Want turbochargers but do not want to break the bank? Well, it is difficult to argue against the Gintani G1000 twin turbo kit which will provide over 1000 crank horsepower. They are able to get this output while tuning the car on the factory ECU no less. Additionally, on the factory engine internals and the factory transmission. Need proof? Serious, serious power. That is with VP Import + Meth at 10 psi. There are of course options which raise the price but if you go with their standard bolt on kit it pricing starts in the $30k range. This is enough power to go 192+ in the 1/2 mile as the video below shows. Definitely an option for 5.2 V10 owners to consider.

Well, this is a bummer. Morgan does sell vehicles in the USA and this is a large market for them so not bringing the new Plus Six to the United States seems to be counterproductive. The idea of a BMW B58 motor in a 2370 pound car certainly sounds like a lot of fun. Especially once you a throw a tune on top! Not to mention the Plus Six is certainly unique and exclusive. Hopefully someone at Morgan changes their mind. Feel feel free to e-mail them about it.

A bolt on B58 here in a BMW F30 340i putting up some nice numbers. The majority of modding will be right in this bolt on range and it is good know what kind of performance numbers BMW F30 340i owners can expect with the following recipe. Tune: JB4 + MHD BEF Exhaust: AWE Intake: BMS Meth kit: BMS Charge pipe: FTP TCU: XHP Stage 3 That is a nice bolt on list there. It results in the following output: Pull 1: 441 WHP / 526 WTQ Pull 2: 447 WHP / 493 WTQ Pull 3: 458 WHP / 502 WTQ The owner unfortunately only posted the peak figures and not the graphs. He did time it on a drag and the acceleration is impressive: To go beyond this will require changing the turbocharger.

If a Hellcat makes 750-830whp+ with bolt ons and E85 how is one with a 200 shot making 800? No logic there

A very interesting comparison here by Magnuson of three Eaton TVS based superchargers on the C7 Corvette Z06 LT4 motor. The motor comes from the factory with a small TVS1740 blower and you get to see on 91 octane pump fuel just how much more power the bigger blowers provide. Bigger is not always better but in this case with the TVS blowers on the LT4 it happens to be and shows GM made a mistake with the tiny TVS1740. If you look down low in the rev range the superchargers offer similar torque but the difference in flow capability really shows as the motor is revved out and the bigger blowers can supply more air to the motor: The TVS2650 is just the way to go for the LT4 and now you know why the LT5 comes from the factory with it. The TVS2650 with a retune and higher boost thanks to methanol injection managed to easily eclipse 800 horsepower to the wheels still on the same 91 octane pump fuel: Magnuson feels the TVS2650 is good for roughly 1200 rear wheel horsepower which one could argue is even mathematically conservative on the LT4 platform. Magnuson goes into further details in the video below:

Have a Gen 5 direct injected small block V8 from General Motors? Need direct injection fuel injectors capable of higher flow? Well, Xtreme-DI just announced they have injectors for the LT1, LT4, LT5, L86, and L83 V8's that are capable of 45% more flow than stock. Announcement: This is great for those upgrading their direct injection fuel system and fuel pumps to be capable of handling far more fuel than factory injectors can flow. You might be saying, didn't the new Mercedes-AMG GT R Pro lap the Nurburgring in 7:04.6? Yes, it did, in the hands of Mercedes-AMG test drivers. Suffice it to say, Mercedes-AMG has greater resources at its disposal at the Nurburgring than Sport Auto. That is what makes this independent test being only two seconds off the absolute best the factory could do with the car so amazing. It is not easy to get a time like this. The lap test video below is well worth watching not only for the engine sound but just seeing the incredible speed and driving involved. Laptime: 7.06,60 min. | Tyre: Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 ZP |

Great to see some 1/2 mile runs with some high end hardware you rarely get independent numbers for. The Ferrari 812 Superfast in particular is not a car you see running too often and it is great to see it run the 1/2 mile along with the 488 GTB. The first race is a stock McLaren 720S going up against a stock Ferrari 812 Superfast. Now, the Ferrari has its work cut out for it. Not only is the Ferrari naturally aspirated it is much heavier than the McLaren. It actually does a commendable job against the monster that is the 720S. 162.15 stock 1/2 mile trap for the Ferrari compared to 169.72 for the 720S: Next up the McLaren 720S runs a Nissan GT-R said to be making 1200 horsepower. The GT-R in theory should demolish the McLaren. The GT-R does win but the 1/2 mile trap between the two is only off by by half a kilometer per hour: Last but not least is a Ferrari 488 GTB. The McLaren 720S makes easy work of it turning a 175.30 mph 1/2 mile trap to the Ferrari's 160.40: Some nice 1/2 mile pulls with high end hardware.
