    • Comparing McLaren 675LT output to the 570S & 650S stock and tuned with Fabspeed ECU flash and exhaust

      Well, that was fast! The 675LT is a pretty rare car to begin with. It's also a rocket in stock form trapping just under 140 in MotorTrend testing but McLaren themselves states the car is capable of over 140 in the 1/4 mile. It helps that it also weighs just under 3000 pounds and has 666 horsepower.


      What is that output at the wheels on a Dynojet? 582 horsepower. The torque figure is 490 lb-ft at the wheels. Very powerful and slightly underrated if you believe in traditional 15% loss figures:


      With an ECU tune they raise output to 629 at the wheels and the gain doesn't just come down low but through the entire curve. The peak increase is 46.6 horsepower at the wheels just from ECU tuning only.

      Now how does this compare to the entry level 570S? Well, it's quite a bit more power although the 570S is no slouch. Just look at the stock and tuned 570S results:


      A tuned 570S is essentially equal to a stock 675LT. Pretty incredible, right? The 675LT turbos have more headroom though and it shows in the tuned 675LT figures.

      Now what about a 650S?


      It slots in right between the two as it should in stock and tuned form. The 650S makes slightly more with a tune than the 570S and the 675LT in turn with a tune makes slightly more than the 650S with a tune. Everything aligns nice and neat based on price point of entry.

      Ultimately, the 570S is the best tuning value of the bunch which is no surprise.

      Now, add in the Fabspeed sport cats with a tune on the 675LT and you end up with 635 whp and 526 wtq:


      Increases of 52 horsepower and 35 lb-ft of torque at the wheels respectively. No dyno is provided for the cat bypass piece they have but these gains are good enough without polluting in an emissions crazy atmosphere.

      Excellent gains as always from Fabspeed.
